Radiology

Our doctors utilize in-house digital radiology (x-ray) and ultrasound, using these modalities to identify any abnormalities with internal organs and skeletal structure. We review the results of all tests with the pet’s owners and they receive a free CD with the results (radiology only).

Benefits of Digital X-Rays For Pets

OUR DIGITAL X-RAYS PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE TO YOU. HERE’S WHY.

1. Speed

Even though our waiting room is warm, comfy, has lots of reading material, and hot drinks and warm cookies, we do not want you to wait any longer than you have to. Digital x-rays are processed in a matter of seconds and the results presented to you right away.

2. Less Re-Takes

Digital x-rays can be manipulated on our computer screens by our doctors, giving them the ability to produce excellent clear images for diagnosis. The result? Less need for retakes!

3. Easier On Patients

With less retakes and need for extra positioning, our patients spend less time on the x-ray table and more time getting loved and nursed by staff.

4. Ease Of Transport

If you are referred to a specialist, we send your digital x-rays electronically so you do not have to transport them and return them later (Washington State law requires x-rays be owned by the veterinary hospital). And your x-rays will never get lost.

5. Ease Of Getting A Copy

After you view the x-rays with the doctor, you are given a copy of your pet’s x-rays on CD at no cost to you. You can view them at home or anywhere you have a screen and CD drive. Your CD comes with a built-in radiology viewer.

Yes! Our doctors always review your pet’s x-rays with you. We do not want you to take our word for it. We want to show you exactly the results and interpret them for you on the spot. We also want to give you the opportunity to ask the doctor questions. That is your right and our responsibility!
