Dr. Trina Dutton, DVMOwner/Veterinarian
Dr. Trina Dutton graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Her Bachelor's degree, in Animal Science, was awarded from the WSU Honors Program. She is highly skilled in surgery, oncology, geriatrics, dentistry, cardiology, and much more. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Washington State Veterinary Medical Association, and Inland Empire Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Dutton decided to become a veterinarian at 10 years of age, when her favorite animal was a tree kangaroo. When she is not caring for dogs, cats, pocket pets (even hedgehogs!), and exotics in the community, she enjoys spending time outdoors, running marathons and trail runs, singing specials in church, yard work, and spending time with her Westhighland Terrier, Barry.
Dr. Heather O'Bannan, DVMOwner/Veterinarian
Dr. Heather O'Bannan also gained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and Bachelors in Veterinary Science from the WSU School of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys working with animals of all sizes and has a diverse collection of patients — dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, pot-bellied pigs, cows, alpacas, llamas, guinea pigs, gerbils, parrots, and even a bearded dragon! Dr. O'Bannan is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Washington State Veterinary Medical Association, Inland Empire Veterinary Medical Association, and American Animal Hospital Association.
Dr. O'Bannan followed her older sister (Dr. Trina Dutton) into the field of veterinary medicine at a young age. She is a die-hard Cougar fan and adores working with people who love their pets. She is a long distance runner and enjoys running endurance trail runs. Dr. O'Bannan and her husband enjoy all activities that allow them to be outside and enjoying our beautiful community. Their family is rounded out by their three children, Judah, Everly, Truly; their Retriever/Labrador mix, Darby; and cats, Jerry and Cheerio.
Dr. Holly Hruza, DVMAssociate Veterinarian
Dr. Holly Hruza earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University and Bachelors in Food Science/Nutrition with a double minor in Spanish and Biology from the University of Idaho. She enjoys working with farm and companion animals with a special love for cows. Dr. Hruza is a member of the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association and Inland Empire Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Hruza has a Schnoodle named Jhag. He likes to run, dig, and cuddle with his favorite people while they play with his big ears and tiny toes. She has grown up with several other pets and helped raise rabbits, chickens, pigs, labs, horses, and cows on her family farm. She has a third degree black belt in Taw Kwon Do and has played bass guitar and piano in a few bands including church, Cru, and folk/oldies group. She enjoys most everything outdoors: hiking, ATV rides, skiing/snowboarding, hunting, and white water rafting. She also enjoy's watching movies, reading books, and spending time with friends and family over a home cooked meal.
Jeannette is the Practice Manager. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations, with a minor in Psychology from Washington State University after previously working in the education and graphic design fields. She directs the business side of the practice, guaranteeing the hospital runs smoothly.
Jeannette and her husband, Dave, have six children: Dr. Dutton, Dr. O'Bannan, Elizabeth, Mayden, Nadiri, and Silas. She enjoys being with her family (which includes their Golden Retriever, Border Collie, two cats, three horses, and one parakeet), any activity involving nature, teaching Sunday School, and puttering around the yard.

Nicole is Administrative Assistant to the Practice Manager and part-time Receptionist. Nicole has many years of customer service experience.
Her family includes her husband, Raymond, son, Easton, three dogs, Nella, Spur, and Little T, and one cat, Tony. She loves being a mom and is hoping to get a horse soon.
Interesting fact: Nicole travelled with her husband to his job sites in a 26 foot camper trailer with their two dogs for two years before buying a farm in Edwall.
Alycia, Receptionist, has nine years of management experience in the restaurant industry.
Her family includes her husband, Tim, son, Kolby, and six dogs: Blue, Missy, Oliver, Takaani, Rusty, and Moo. She enjoys hiking, wood working, and building things. She is very crafty!
Interesting fact: Alycia is originally from Naselle, Washington near the coast. We are so glad she moved inland!
Interesting facts: She was Vice President of the Medical Lake FFA Chapter and was a mentor and participant in the Medical Lake FFA Veterinary Science Team that went to state competition.
Hannah , Veterinary Assistant, graduated with honors in veterinary assisting from the New Tech Skills Center. She anticipates becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). In her free time, she enjoys walking the family black labs, Gunner and Sadie.
Interesting fact: Hannah was in a Musha Marimba musical group for many years, performing throughout the region.
Jenissa , Veterinary Assistant, has a Bachelor's degree in Children's Studies and Sociology. She and her husband, Keefer, have two children, Sophia and Amari. Their family is rounded out by Diva, a Yorkie/Papillon and Zoey Rose, a Blacksmoke Tuxedo. Jenissa enjoys camping, boating, swimming, and family time.
Interesting facts: Jenissa moved to Medical Lake when she was three and grew up in our wonderful town. After marrying at the age of 22, she moved with her military husband to several different locations including Portugal. They moved back to Medical Lake after the birth of their daughter.
Kristin, Receptionist, has ten years of management experience in the retail industry. She has two children, Alex and Maddyson and a Miniature Australian Shepherd named Roos. She loves being outdoors and enjoys spending time with family.
Kyndal, LVTLicensed Vet Tech
Kyndal, Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), has an Associate of Arts degree in Veterinary Technology from Pierce College. Her family is rounded out by a large menagerie of pets who include Charlie (4 year old German Shepherd), 9 yaks, 1 cow, 2 goats, several chickens, a turkey, and a barn cat. She is hoping to add a farm pup to the mix soon! She enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors, reading, kayaking, gardening, cooking, and baking.
Interesting facts: Kyndal went to two years of pre-nursing school before realizing animals were her true passion. She worked at a farm animal sanctuary between nursing and technician school. She grew up in Gig Harbor, WA.
Mikki, Veterinary Assistant, has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Accounting. Mikki and her husband, Bill, have three children, Jake, Lilly, and Emily. Their family is rounded out by a Shih Tzu-Chihuahua (Bandit), Pom-Chi (Ollie), Mini Australian Shepherd (Roo), cat (Kitty), and two horses (Moscoe and Daisy). Mikki enjoys spending time with her family, running, working with the horses and dogs, volunteering in her childrens' school, and traveling.
Interesting fact: Mikki grew up in Spokane and then spent many years in Texas. She and her husband graduated from Texas A & M and get together regularly with other Aggies in the Pacific Northwest.
Nadiri, Kennel Assistant, brings much positive "sunshine" to the hospital as she provides support to the veterinary assistants. Nadiri loves animals, even snakes and insects! She has a parakeet named Sammy, a cat named Winston, and a Thoroughbred horse named Jasper. When not racing and jumping her horse, Nadiri enjoys reading, hiking, and baking.
Interesting fact: Nadiri is on the Medical Lake High School Equine Team, competing with her horse, Jasper. She competes in cross country as well. Go cards!
Interesting facts: Rachael is from Michigan. She has lived in Medical Lake for four years. Her husband is stationed at Fairchild AFB.
